Welcome to EzineCity

Hi and welcome to the EzineCity blog. I'm Chris, your host. I've spent the past few weeks building EzineCity.org, quietly opened it late last month and today am starting this blog to let the world know about it.

I wanted to create a resource where people could easily find ezines and other online publications, organized by category and fully searchable. I wanted it to be free, both for the visitor and the ezine publishers. There are no membership or listing fees, no login, no passwords, just a directory open to all. EzineCity.org is the result. As of today, there are over 9400 listings in 614 categories. Those numbers will no doubt be growing. Some publications listed here are delivered via email, some only via the web, and some are online versions of printed magazines or newsletters.

I will be using this blog to give a guided tour of the site, as well as provide updates and talk a bit about some my favorite ezines.

If you publish an ezine or online magazine, here's how to get it listed in EzineCity. First, do a search to make sure your site is not already listed. Then find the most appropriate category (or subcategory) for the subject matter of your publication and click the Add Your Site link. Finally, fill out the form on that page. If no category seems right, suggest a new one by noting it in your description, which we'll edit out.

A link back to us would be most appreciated and will usually get your site listed faster. All listings are reviewed by real humans before being approved.
